31 Day Challenge: Day 4: Green Nails

#31DC2015 Day 4 Green Nails
We're here at day 4, and I have to apologize for not posting yesterday's photo on time. Actually, I feel asleep. Getting up at 4:30 every morning caught up with me. I sooooo need this holiday weekend. Without further ado, I present Day 4, green nails.

For this manicure I opted not to use a color base coat. With green polish, I stamped the pattern over a simple clear base coat.

I'm still enjoying the excellent stamping quality of my MdU polishes. I see a lot more stamping polishes popping up on the market that I want to test out. But I have reservations about whether or not they can compete with what I have. Moyou London, in particular, drew my attention, as did Born Pretty, but I'm not ready to make that investment when MdU is a fraction of the price of Moyou London and almost half the price of Born Pretty. We'll see in the future. Maybe someone will send something for me to review. I'd love to write a comparison post.

Born Pretty BP-L 004

I used Born Pretty's BP-L 004 plate for the pattern. I generally like BP stamping plates, however, as with any brand, I tend to avoid the smaller size prints. But, since I only needed to stamp 2/3 of my nail, it worked fine. These plates are limiting in my opinion, since they won't stamp my entire nail.

Today is blue day and I'm getting started right now so I don't decide to take a nap at some point today and forget to wake up. I'll try to stick with just blue and not reach for my oh-so lovely teals. It'll be tough, but with a little extra effort, I think I can manage it. Is there anything you'd like to see for Violet Day? Drop a comment.

Ciao for now.
